Author's Response: Doesn't take much to make you drool, does it ;) Funnily enough, I watched Hugh do This is Your Life for his wife, and he was very suave and they even had their wedding pics and stuff ... and what got me most interested was him as a bank robber in Corelli! He does rough MUCH better than smooth. I think.

This certainly deserves to be finished. I love the way you've weaved back and forth. The description is both simple and rich at the same time which makes me feel like I'm in the moment and every one of Rogue's feelings are palpable.

I'm tense waiting to find out what happened between them. When I read the last line of this chapter, I literally banged my fist on the table saying, "More, damnit. Give me MORE!!!"

I believe that pretty much sums up my feelings towards this story. I'll be lurking around until the next update. ;)

Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I'm going to try and post the next chapter on Friday or Saturday of this week (Australian time). All I have to do is write it ;)

Well, you have me hooked, that's for sure.

The image of Logan in casual silk/linen combo like a movie star (or, in particular, like Hugh Jackman in Vogue) definitely stuck in my mind! ;) But I really like the way you've tweaked Logan's personality in this one.

And the team's reaction to Rogue's actions here will be delicious, I just know it! Will she really spar with Logan? Are you really planning on writing that scene NOW? --or later? And on a serious level, or more like a "let me give you a challenge, see how you've grown" type of fight?

Well, anyway, I'm excited about the possibilities, and looking forward to finding out the details of their backstory you've so tantalizingly dangled out there, particularly how Rogue "left Logan for dead"

Author's Response: Glad you like suaveLogan. I've never even thought to write it that way before, and I suspect its what blocked me on this piece in the first place. I just couldn't fix him in my head like that. But this time, I seem to have been able to take it forward, and I'm having fun with the dichotomy. LOTS of fun ...

You tease! Stopping there is just plain evil, real life can be so inconvenient at times!

One little line [of many] I loved : ‘Or had she been just another acolyte in the Church of Logan?’ I like the way she’s questioning and wondering why - I guess when she knows we’ll know. Damn! There are so many questions and if we’re going epic I suppose I’m going to be waiting a while to find out if my assumptions are correct - better get used to having a carrot dangled just out of reach!

Author's Response: I know, I know. Sorry to be a tease - but I can't help myself! Glad you liked that line; I was fond of it too. Comes from being exactly that myself ;) And yes, if I answer all the questions in one fell swoop = no plot!

Author's Response: Thank you for reading. I know my chapters tend towards the short, but I like to break the action in obvious places. I try not to tease too much, but sometimes simply can't resist! And the wait shouldn't be too long ... I've got most of the next chapter written and expect I'll be able to post in the next 48 hours or so.
