The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
I LOVE the wedding. Its perfect for the two of them.
I would love to see what happens when its announced to everyone. I keep imagining the next day, Xavier and Scott are found alive, and that news is overshadowed with the Rogue/Logan wedding news.
Not sure which would be more shocking to the School.
Author's Response: That's an interesting perspective that had never occurred to me. I'm considering this story as a finished piece and I'm working on another that I'm struggling with to NOT get it this lengthy. Been working on it a year now, and that's ridiculous!rnrnThanks for the feedback and the food for thought!
So thats it? THE END? Mind u it was an absofuckinglutely fabulous story, but there has GOT to be a sequel and I demand that u start working on it now. lol sigh
This story is amazing. The whole plot just flowed together seamlessly, and was very easy to visualize. It was the first W/R fic I'd read, and I absolutely fell in love with every aspect of it. From capturing the characters' personalities to furthering their relationships, there's no word to summarize it, it's that great. A huge congrats for all of your hard efforts, and for a job that's over the top. =D
Author's Response: Your first fic? I'm humbled! I wish the fic I'm working on now would fall together as easily as Poison, did, but it's not happening that way. Thank you so much for your kind words.rn
Wow! It took me a week to read it but what a read! This is what's been keeping me up all these late nights! LOL
I loved every chapter and I loved how the length of each one was short but not TOO SHORT! I was soooo hoping the cure was temporarily because I was beginning to lose hope but it ending so perfectly. Naked wedding? Awesome! What a wonderful story! Wuveddd it! :)
Author's Response: Thank you! It kept me up a lot of late nights writing it - almost a year's worth, give or take a month or two. I tend to work in fits and starts. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride.
Wolf, I'm just starting reading this (so behind in online life it's not funny). Rogue's line about having to ask permission to do something to her own body? WOW. Dead on. I do love me some X-Men, but I have to admit, I agree with Eric a lot.
Author's Response: That 'my body, my choice' issue hit me right from the first time I saw X3 - Bobby had to get just a tad put-off about Rogue taking the cure, when he should have been accepting (and in the context of that movie, perhaps grateful). But nooooo! That gave me the impetus to make it a sticking point between them in this story. Someone earlier commented that Rogue had been kind of nasty to Bobby, but that opening scene (for me, at least) sets the scene for why their relationship won't work (well, that, plus the presence of the very edible Logan).
Luv IT
“Gentlemen, we take down the Wolverine.”
*scary* Damn, Magneto can be evil, but I guess its all part of his allure, sexy, cultured and all manners of twisty evil!
LOL, look forward to next chapter!
Author's Response: That line just oozed Magneto to me. I can see him, standing, smiling at his minions, that aura of smug megalomania seeping from his pores. Gotta love Buckethead!
Oooh, I'm looking forward to the next part of this one. Your Magneto just walked right off the page at me (or computer screen-LoL) He's very true to character, caluclating, clever, and always danger... even when he's 'neutered' And he's very well written, I practically had Ian Mckellen's voice in my head reading the fic *g*
I'm liking this already :o)
Author's Response: That's how I write dialogue - hearing the voice in my head, so the language 'fits' the character's established style. Ian M is easy to visualize that way - his voice is so liquid and commanding at the same time, so unique. I hear him talking while I type, and that way I know if it's right or not.
Very interesting start!
Hmmm wondering if 'your cure' will be permanent.
That last sentence makes an evil cliffhanger, very evil!
Oh it's Homo sapiens not Homo sapien ;)
Author's Response: <<< Homo sapiens not Homo sapien
Thank you - I did not know that. I shall correct it the next time I'm in the account.
