The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Just another lost soul swimming the in the fish bowl.
"Being a telepath was a right bitch, sometimes." hee! I loved that line.
And the whole crying on Scott, and the logan/rogue.. let me get the line..
"After reaffirming that they were, in fact, very much alive, after reassuring each other with the act of love in its most physical, its rawest and sweetest form, Marie fell asleep to the mingling scents of soap and cigar and that subtle feral manliness she knew so well.
Nothing had ever smelled better." Awwwww!
I love the story, and the way the british sneaks in here and there "Treacle pudding" and "bonnet" "Windscreen". But it's really got me hooked.
Author's Response: Thanks, I forget that the majority of readers and writers on here are American (I think?). Well they were near the border (Canada) and I did know of someone who had that at a diner in Niagra Falls, british habits follow us everywhere no doubt. I even talked to a lady who had to teach a diner how to make \'English Tea\',they advertised it and went through the roof with sales. LOL!
Anyhoo, thanks for following this and telling me what you think, Jo.
Oh that was a great way to start my morning. Now I have to go face the guy I have thing for... If I make slips, I'm blaming you! (But maybe thanking you too!)
Author's Response: I\'ll take responsibilty for any incedent propsal slips :) But if you call me a \'big meanie\' or something like that, that\'s all on you.
One of my favorite Thourougood songs.
I'm a mite bit partial to the Jim Beam myself. I might just have to drink some and see if it enlives the muses!
Author's Response: It couldn\'t hurt ^.~
Now see, while it will get me my butt kicked, I like Scott.
this made me wanna cryyyyy! Not fair first thing in the morning!
Author's Response: Sorry for making you cry. I like Scott, too. Nothing wrong with liking him. It\'s just that there were only two x-couples that I have knowledge about at all, and somehow it felt even more wrong to make it so that it was Logan who died... ;)
Well I've been quiet 'til now. More because work has me blurry eyed and seeing double.
I loved it. Pure and simple. The research you had to have done on the metal poisoning made my little nerd's heart sigh.
The finding the tags thing made me smirk, too.
All in all, I was waiting as patiently as I ever do for anything, every day, hoping for a chapter.
I'm so sad it's over! Happy ending, but now what am I going to wait for! lol
Author's Response: The research was the first thing for me, once I had the idea hammered out. I\'m stickler enough to want the details to be \'basically\' right, but not technical enough to interfere with the flow of the story - hardcore medical fics bore me when they\'re not grossing me out. I always thought Logan needed to throw the tags away (Movie!Verse), but Rogue needed them as a keepsake (Fic!Verse).
Oh September darling, how I've missed you. Now that I've had my girly sigh fix, I can go on for another day.
Don't go away again!
Author's Response: *loves you too* :o) ...and I\'m still here!
Okay, I'm first to admit I don't generally enjoy settings like this for Rogan..
But somehow, you've got me addicted and hoping for more. It's horrible and gross and fantastic, all at once!
*sighs* Okay I'm hooked. Next fix please.
AWWWWWWWWW! *gets out a tissue* I love how you get her into just a stream of conciousness type writing where it seems like she just writes. Works well for this.
*deep breath* Wow. Powerful ending.
More, oh more please!!!
I third the opinion there's gotta be more!
Please? It's killing me!
Any chance for more? Pleaaaaase?
Okay, I'm just itching for more, now. Please oh please! I love knowing she's just GOT to remember!
Say all you want about my smut, but you've got me burning for more of this one!
Author's Response: haha, Thanks!
I'm already addicted! I can't wait for more!
Ohhhhhh! It was so wonderful!
Though one wonders how he got a letter back in time to himself.. hmm.
Woman, you are so making me want more more more.
*fistshake* The kiss was perfect.
Author's Response: Glad you liked the kiss *g* And as for wanting more - I want to know what happens next in Glimmer!
The whole thing was fantastic. I got teary eyed several times. Amazing work.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you.
Nothing is quite going Rogue's way, but even the worst days have their highlights... right alongside the lowlights... and the lets-just-all-agree-to-never-mention-this-again-lights...
Dear gods, how did I miss this? (Other than I was moving across the country). I love this, love you, and miss you! This was awesome.
